Trust Saif Ali Khan to give us something new every single time – even if it doesn’t work at the Box Office. The actor was seen in 2019’s Laal Kaptaan which was a fantastic role to play but unfortunately, the film didn’t do well with the masses.

Khan’s next few films, namely Tanhaji and Jawaani Jaaneman were not only praised by critics but have also performed remarkably well at the Box Office. Now, the actor is back with Amazon Prime Video’s Tandav where he plays a morally ambiguous politician.

Tandav is also the digital debut of Dimple Kapadia. “Set in the capital city of the world’s largest democracy, Tandav will take viewers inside the closed, chaotic corridors of power and uncover the manipulations, charades as well as the dark secrets of people who will go to any lengths in pursuit of power,” says the official statement from Amazon Prime Video.

“In the past few years, I’ve really tried to act better and just generally be as good as I can. I’ve always believed that if you chase good work, everything follows. I’ve been more commercial-minded before and now I’m back to chasing the best parts of what I’ve been offered at this age and at this stage of my career. I’m being a little more discerning as my acting brain has developed. There are places I want to go, or go back to, and there are places I want to go forward to, you know?” Khan had told MW last year.
