Fans have been desperately waiting for the second half of the fourth season of Rick and Morty. There’s a limit to how any times one can see the same three seasons several times. We still haven’t gotten the fourth season yet, but Adult Swim just dropped a mini-episode.

It’s everything you expect from a good Rick and Morty episode — lot of blood being spilled, Rick fighting off other Rick-ninjas with a sword and a few decapitations here and there. But the setting is unusual for a Rick and Morty episode, although not weird considering the show in itself. It is completely in Japanese and you see Rick, and Morty as samurais. It was created by Japanese animation company Studio Deen, who have made such anime productions as the Junji Ito Collection, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, and Ranma 1/2.

The almost six-minute clip is extremely satisfying to watch if you are a fan of the show and love their signature, unadulterated blood and gore. The mini-episode is the closest thing we’ve come to getting season 4b. It definitely isn’t much, but it will hold us off for now.
