Taimur Ali Khan is arguably one of the most popular people in India. Ever since his birth, the paparazzi and social media have been gaga over the Pataudi scion. There’s another Pataudi scion that everyone has been infatuated with ever since his social media debut and that is Ibrahim Khan. Now, actor Saif Ali Khan, their father, has stated that he would like Taimur and Ibrahim to follow in his footsteps and join the film industry.

Khan recently made an appearance on Jacqueline Fernandez and Amanda Cerny’s podcast where the latter asked him about his family’s illustrious history in the arts. The actor explained that his mother, the ever-graceful Sharmila Tagore is related to Rabindranath Tagore and a long line of artists and painters. Meanwhile, Fernandez gushed about Taimur.

“My mother’s been doing films since she was 16. She worked with Satyajit Ray a lot and did about four or five movies with him. She was his muse, and he thought of her as the ultimate female representation of his art. My sister is kind of in the movies, my wife, my ex-wife as well… So all of us. My daughter, my elder son wants to be an actor, and I think Taimur will be an actor for sure, he’s entertaining us already,” Khan said.

“Ibrahim seems prepared for a career in acting. And why not? I’d like all my children to be in this profession. It is the best place to work in. I remember at 17-18 I was a mess. Acting saved me from self-destruction. Having the job, the sense of identity it has given me, and the job satisfaction and the enjoyment it has given me are more than I could ask for,” the actor had previously told Spotboye in an interview.

Again, in an earlier interview with Bollywood Hungama, Khan had said about Taimur: “I hope he finds a nice job when he grows up. I hope he keeps it up on the Friday of his first release. I’d like him to be an actor.”
