‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Is Returning To Theatres With 15 Minutes Of New Footage

Looks like our friendly neighbourhood superhero will be visiting us again, soon

Spider-Man: No Way Home is returning to your nearest theatres soon. Sony Pictures announced that they are bringing the Tom Holland starrer back to screen with a special surprise. Why the re-release, you ask? Well, the makers wanted to share some extra footage with fans and they decided to do so by putting the film back in cinema halls. 

 

Sony revealed that there would be some interesting scenes that were cut out from the original version in the new film. The global release dates along with the new title were also announced. The film is now known as Spider-Man: No Way Home The More Fun Stuff Version. The screening of this special cut will begin on September 2 in India and on September 1 in the US.

Reports suggest that the extended 15 minutes of the film will feature a sequence with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Scenes with Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire have also been added to this new version of the Marvel flick. With this, Marvel and Sony can anticipate a significant rise in the film’s lifetime box office collection.

The Marvel character’s third outing had initially released in theatres on December 17, 2021. The film had grossed a whopping amount of around Rs. 15,106 cr at the global box office. It was also nominated for Best Visual Effects at the 2022 Oscars which co-starred Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Benedict Cumberbatch in key roles.
