Despite the current situations that we are facing, and the theatres being gradually shut across the world, the Tom Holland-starrer is continuing to mint money. The film has raked in $668 million in the North American market, which is more than Titanic and Jurassic World. Trade analysts speculate that the film might just cross the $700 million mark soon.

To much surprise, NWH has surpassed The Avengers in the list of highest-grossing films ever already. Globally, its total earnings is of $1.53 billion. The only two superhero films ahead of the Spider-Man film are Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, which makes it the highest-grossing solo superhero film ever.

And while Tom Holland has been winning everyone’s heart as Spider-Man, he recently also expressed his dream of essaying James Bond on the screen during an interview. During an appearance on the UK radio programme Heart, Holland said that he would unquestionably enter the race to play a younger version of Agent 007 if a possibility of such a role ever occurs.

“It would be an actual dream come true. I’ve got to remind myself that I’m lucky enough as it is. Spider-Man is an absolute delight and privilege to play, but you know, should they want to do a younger James Bond, you best believe I would be there. It is what it is, we’ll have to wait and see,” the actor revealed.
