Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja often set couple goals for the fans. The two got hitched in the year 2018 and have been living their best lives together. Thanking her stars, Kapoor recently opened up about how she feels lucky to have met Ahuja. The actress said she is glad that she did not marry a Bollywood actor instead.

The actress recently spoke during an interview and revealed how she is fortunate to have met someone like Anand Ahuja, who is both like-minded and a feminist like her. She went on to ass that she thanks God every day that she did not meet anyone in the Hindi industry and got married to them. She said that the worldview would have been limited had she tied the knot with a Bollywood star, and that is something she would have not liked.
Kapoor added that they would only know about what’s happening in the film industry and she was not ready to settle down for this. She went on to talk about her relationship and revealed how the duo makes it work so efficiently. She talked about how being away from each other due to work commitments made them stay away from each other for longer times, and it was only during the lockdown that they got to spend some quality time together.
Kapoor talked about how she and her husband spent every night together during the lockdown and how they thoroughly enjoyed it. She said that the two have realized that they are obsessed with each other and have a lot of fun together.
The actress had once opened up about how she met Anand Ahuja and revealed, “My friends were trying to set me up with Anand’s best friend. That’s how I met him. The first time I met Anand was while I was busy with the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015). One evening my friends conned me into visiting a bar at the Taj. I went there quite irritated. When I reached there, I realised my friends had called these two – three boys whom I had no interest in meeting.”
“I was like, ‘I don’t want to date anybody. I don’t believe in marriage and all this nonsense’. I saw Anand and his friend. His friend was tall like me, liked reading like me and was a huge fan of Hindi movies. He was an educated and nice guy. But he reminded me too much of my brother Harsh (Kapoor). I was like, ‘Dude, he’s Harsh. I’m not going to date this guy’,” she said.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Blind. The actress will be essaying the role of a blind police officer who investigates a case to find a serial killer. Kapoor has shot the film in Scotland.
