Any party in 2022 is incomplete without Tesher and Jason Derulo’s hit track, “Jalebi Baby”. The song, which was released in 2021, is still rocking the charts, and its latest fan seems to be Shangi-Chi actor Simu Liu. The actor was invited on stage at the Juno Awards by Tesher, where they broke into a killer bhangra routine.
Matching the singer’s steps perfectly, the actor shocked viewers. At the end of it, we see the Hollywood star say, “That’s how we celebrate Asian heritage.”
Tesher shared a short clip of the dance saying “Me and @simuliu brought bhangra to the MCU baby!!! Shoutout to the @thejunoawards awards for letting me perform and showcase South Asian culture on the biggest music stage in Canada. I’m still shook!!! also NEW MUSIC NEXT MONTH BABYYYY.”

The film which has been in the works since 2019, is expected to start production by early 2022, with the release scheduled for 2023.
