Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna’s much-awaited film Mission Majnu is all set to now release on June 10th, 2022. ‘Mission Majnu’ was scheduled for a May 13th release but the third wave of Covid delayed plans.
Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, the espionage thriller which is set in the 1970s has Sidharth Malhotra essaying the role of a RAW agent who lead a covert operation on Pakistani soil. The film also marks the Hindi debut of Rashmika Mandanna.
The makers announced the date on social media and wrote, “The target is set! Get ready to be a part of India’s most daring RAW mission in the heart of Pakistan. Inspired by true events, #MissionMajnu releasing on 10th June 2022 (sic).”
The film is Sidharth’s next after the hit Shershaah, and Rashmika’s much-awaited Bollywood debut after her monstrous blockbuster Pushpa.
Mission Majnu also stars Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra.
