The buzz around Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has hit a fever pitch. And, well, right from him posting pictures with his 8-pack abs on Instagram to teasing fans with glimpses, King Khan is doing it all to keep excitement levels amped. The movie is scheduled to release on June 2, 2023.  

Adding to the buzz, a Reddit user shared pictures from the superstar’s look test from the action-thriller. And, as it can be seen here, the actor seems to have gone bald for his look here. The reveal adds to the excitement that surrounds the movie, doesn’t it?

Here’s How It Looks: 

The movie also features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover in the cast. Apart from them, rumors are rife that Vijay Chandrashekhar and Deepika Padukone might be seen doing cameo roles in the film. The cast and crew members started shooting for the film in 2021 and shot at various locations in India like Pune, Mumbai, and Chennai.  

Initially, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was approached by the makers for the lead role, but it was believed that she declined it. Soon after, Nayanthara was finalized. And, the movie marks her Bollywood debut. The makers were also interested in roping Rana Daggubati for the role of an antagonist, but things didn’t materialize. Thus, the role went to Sethupathi.  

The movie is being directed by Arun Kumar, popularly known as Atlee Kumar, who has worked on films like Raja Rani, Bigil, Theri, and the like. He started his journey as an assistant director to S Shankar and slowly worked his way up to being a director himself.  

The makers had even approached AR Rahman for the music, but the legend reportedly declined the offer. The opportunity finally came knocking at Anirudh Ravichander’s door, who accepted to offer.  

Netflix has bagged the rights of the movie for Rs. 250 crores, while Zee Network has gotten the satellite rights for the same.  

The other projects lined up for SRK are Pathaan, Tiger 3, and Dunki.
