'The Boys' Season 3 Trailer: Jensen Ackles Joins Cast As ‘Soldier Boy’
Season 3 Of ‘The Boys’ Promises A Whole Lot Of Homelander And A Parody Of Captain America

It going to be as diabolical as you expect it to be

The Boys are back. Amazon Prime Video has officially dropped the first trailer for The Boys Season 3, and it sure looks like a lot of fun. The new season of the Eric Kripke show will start premiere on June 3rd.

The brief 2.30-second trailer starts with Antony Starr’s Homelander on a press tour, trying to make amends for the events of season 2. We then get a glimpse of Billy’s new superpowers and a closer look at Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy. Of course, all of this is packed with a whole lot of blood and gore.

Season 3 will see a majority of the cast reprising their roles, including Anthony Starr as Homelander, Jack Quaid as Hughie and Karl Urban as Billy the Butcher. As mentioned earlier, Jensen Ackles will be joining the band of superheroes as ‘Soldier Boy,’ a parody of Marvel’s Captain America. This will be the actor’s second project with showrunner Eric Kripke, who he’s previously worked with on CW’s Supernatural.

Fans have been flooding Twitter with reactions ever since the trailer dropped. Here are a few of our favourites:
