While the two superstars themselves have buried the supposed hatchet long ago and have been vocal in their support for each others’ films, their respective fan clubs have traditionally been at loggerheads. We’re talking about Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Of course, a story on the SRK-Salman Khan rivalry is good fodder for the media and sensational enough to get all the clicks and retweets. However, there is absolutely no truth in these stories.
SRK recently appeared on Salman Khan’s show Dus Ka Dum 3 where he was all praise about the latter’s father, Salim Khan. The 52-year-old actor revealed how Salman’s family had really come through with their support for him during his initial days in Mumbai.
“The first time I came to Mumbai as a struggling actor, I had my meals at Salman’s place where Salim Khanji supported me a lot. It is because of them I have become ‘Shah Rukh Khan’. I have come on the show only because of Salman and I will go wherever he tells me to go,” he said, according to Zoom.
The web portal also reports that the star recalled his Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days where he shared the screen with Salman.
