Khan’s production house, Salman Khan Films and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, the two production banners backing Radhe, have partnered with the donation platform, GiveIndia, to provide relief aid to the needy. They will contribute to providing essential medical equipment, oxygen cylinders, concentrators and ventilators. The production house has also pledged to support families of daily wage earners, who have been adversely affected by the pandemic.
“We are glad to be a part of this noble initiative, to contribute our bit towards the nation’s fight against Covid-19. Since the last year, we have been consistent in our efforts towards fighting Covid-19, since this unprecedented crisis struck our country and the world.
Very importantly, we have also come to realise that holding up the release of a pre-shot film may not help us in any way but using its proceeds towards fighting the pandemic is a more suitable and pragmatic approach. ‘Radhe’s’ release on ZEE5 and ZeePlex will empower us to contribute more in these extremely difficult times,” a spokesperson of Salman Khan Films stated.
The Central Board of Film Certification has passed the film with a U/A certificate. The runtime for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is 114 minutes. Radhe is the shortest film of Salman Khan’s. In a career spanning over three decades, Khan has never acted in a film that has been shorter than 120 minutes.
Salman Khan and Disha Patani will be reuniting for the second time after Bharat. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The Prabhu Deva directorial is set to release on May 13. The film is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and is co-produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Atul Agnihotri under the banners Salman Khan Films, in association with ZEE Studios, Sohail Khan Productions, and Reel Life Production.
