Eid arrived with yet another Salman Khan release. Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai released in theatres and on the streaming platform – Zee5 yesterday (May 13). Khan’s fans were quite excited to finally see the megastar on the screen, and chose to see him online on Zee5. The website was accessed by so many people to watch Salman Khan’s Radhe at one time that its server crashed because of the load.

ZEE5 Premium took to social media to share that the website has crashed and they are doing their level best to fix the issue. They also went on to thank fans for the immense love they showered on Salman Khan’s Radhe. “Thank you for the unprecedented love, will be back soon,” read the tweet. The servers crashed at around noon and were fixed within a few hours. Reportedly, over 1.25 million people tried to log in to ZEE5 to watch the film.
A few days before the release of Radhe, Salman Khan had spoken about losing money at the box office with Radhe. “We will lose money at the box office with Radhe. The reason why we are releasing this film is for the fans. I don’t want them to come to a theatre to watch me. I don’t want ki kal ko koi bole ki Salman Khan ke fans ko coronavirus hogaya ya unhone faila diya. I am glad Zee also was ready to take losses along with us,” he had said.
Salman Khan and Disha Patani have reunited for the second time after Bharat. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles. The Prabhu Deva directorial is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and is co-produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Atul Agnihotri under the banners Salman Khan Films, in association with ZEE Studios, Sohail Khan Productions, and Reel Life Production.
