Ranveer Singh is loved for his energy and fans got another glimpse of the same during his stint at the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL match. The actor, who is promoting his upcoming film Jayeshbhai Jordaar, returned to cricket commentary to tag along with Irfan Pathan and other cricketers for a fun night.
The actor, naturally, was an entertainer during his time with the cricketers. And he himself enjoyed it so much that he refused to leave the panel. In a hilarious video posted by Pathan, one can see him telling Singh that his screen time is over. The actor refuses to leave saying he doesn’t feel like giving this job up. He even goes on to ask Pathan for a job.
Singh says, “Mujhe nahi jana. Mujhe kahin nahi jana yar, mujhe yahi rahna hai. Meri naukri laga do Irfan saab (I don’t want to go anywhere, I want to stay here. Get me a job).” The former cricketer shared the video with a caption that read, “What a guy. Done kar de?? (Should we say yes)”
Singh talked a lot about cricket including RCB captain Virat Kohli’s poor performance in the last match. He said, “It is quite disappointing to see Virat getting out on a first-ball duck. However, it doesn’t affect his stature. He was and will always be a great cricketer. I want him to come out of this bad phase soon because I want to see him do well for Team India in the T20 World Cup.”
Talking about his film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is all set to release in theatres on May 13. Along with Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Shalini Pandey, Ratna Pathak Shah and Boman Irani in key roles. Directed by Divyang Thakkar, the film revolves around the story of a father who wants to save his unborn girl child.
