Ranveer Singh Goes On A Special Diet For ’83 – Details Inside

The actor has been put on a protein-heavy diet

It’s safe to say that every Indian and fan of the Indian cricket team were highly disappointed when New Zealand beat our boys in blue during the CWC semi-finals. It must have been an unpleasant shock for Bollywood as well considering two major films – ’83 and The Zoya Factor – are both based on cricket. While the former is about India’s world cup win in 1983, the latter is based on Anuja Chauhan’s bestselling novel of the same name.

According to media reports, Ranveer Singh who will play the role of Kapil Dev in ‘83, has been asked to maintain a strict diet.

“Ranveer loves Indian cuisine. So, we try and bring as much variety into his food while keeping the restrictions in mind. for the past few months, Ranveer has been put on a protein-heavy diet. his favourite is the jalapeño and crisp bacon omelette that comprises rolled oats, eggs, topped with mixed nuts and fresh berries. the complex carbs [boost his] energy while the proteins help him cut the fat and increase muscle mass,” says Anmol Singhal, the co-founder of PoD supply to Mid Day.

Singhal has come on board and has devised a protein-heavy diet for Singh.

“We’ve cracked a healthy variant of Nutella for Ranveer it’s an avocado mousse, made of 90 per cent dark chocolate chips and avocados,” he added.
