Gone are the days when Bollywood filmmakers faced a tough task of casting exes together for a film. The current crop of Bollywood stars have been displaying a lot of professionalism by putting behind their acrimonious past, to come together for some interesting film projects with their exes. 

And so with Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jasoos releasing tomorrow (starring former flames Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor), here’s taking a look at a few Bollywood exes who’ve let bygones be bygones and have reunited on the professional front.  

Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor – Jagga Jasoos

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif star in this adventure/romantic comedy, but not many would be aware of the fact that the two actually broke up while Jagga Jasoos was being filmed. Although director Anurag Basu did face a little delay while filming, the former lover birds ensured that their personal lives do not affect their professional lives and have also been on a promotion spree together. 

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor – Jab We Met/ Udta Punjab

 

 

 

 

 

While many fans predicted that Jab We Met would be the last film that Shahid  and Kareena would be seen together in, but the duo definitely managed to prove everyone wrong. While they broke up during the filming of Jab We Met, but that didn’t stop the couple from teaming up for Udta Punjab. The two did not not have any scenes together, but they were absolutely professional while filming. 

Ranbir Kapoor and  Deepika Padukone – Tamasha/ Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

 

 

 

 

 

After Ranbir and Deepika went their separate ways in real life, the golden couple of Bollywood did manage to bury the hatchet and come together for films such as Tamasha and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Moreover, the exes are really good friends in real life and share a great rapport off-screen.

Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma – Dil Dhadakne Do

 

 

 

 

 

They were reportedly dating after Band Baajaa Baraat and Ladies Vs Ricky Behl but moved on to other relationships. While Anushka is currently dating Virat Kohli and Ranveer Singh is with Deepika Padukone, this has not deterred them from sharing screen space again. They came together for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do and their on-screen chemistry was natural and warm, without any form of bitterness.

Their fans were gushing about their electrifying on-screen chemistry when OK Jaanu released and the pair definitely looked just as refreshing as ever. For all those who are unaware, the duo were once an item during the filming of Aashiqui 2, but broke up soon after.  

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in Tiger Zinda Hai 

Ex flames Salman and Katrina are now gearing up for the release of Tiger Zinda Hai (Christmas release), which is a sequel to the 2012 box-office hit, Ek Tha Tiger. And their fans are definitely elated with the prospect of seeing their favourite couple on-screen again. Recently, Katrina Kaif also shared a selfie with the two of them together, which is definitely a sign that there is no bad blood between them after their breakup (after which Katrina started dating Ranbir Kapoor).
