Ranbir Kapoor has essayed some really intense roles on the screen, and come to think of it, his fans have rarely seen him laugh on the screen. This, interestingly, is a conscious decision taken by the actor. Talking to Kapil Sharma once, Kapoor had revealed that he likes to do more serious roles in films because he thinks his laugh is funny.
Ranbir had arrived on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote one of his films and told the comedian, “My laughter does not have any sound, and for films, laughter without a sound… doesn’t make sense so I have to put a sound and when I add a sound, I sound like a donkey.”
Kapoor went on to ask his Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star, Anushka Sharma to make him laugh so he can explain this quirk to the audience. The actress pointed at Kapil Sharma and said, “When you have such a great comedian, why would I.” The comedian also jumped in to say “Has anyone ever asked Sachin Tendulkar ‘Sir, sixer maarke dikhaiye’ or asked an army man ‘Sir, ek tope chalake dikhaiye na’.” This made everyone laugh, giving a glimpse of RK laughs naturally.
Apart from this, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were snapped at the Mumbai airport leaving the city to the Maldives for a vacation a couple of months ago. The couple went away amidst the coronavirus lockdown in Maharashtra was announced due to a sudden rise in COVID-19 cases. After the photos of Kapoor and Bhatt surfaced on the internet, citizens trolled and called them out for running away from the chaos instead of not using their influence to help people during such trying times.
On the work front, RK will be seen with Bhatt in Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and other roles. Besides Brahmastra, he has several other films coming up such as Shamshera and Animal.
