Our ‘national jiju‘ Nick Jonas has taken to Indian culture wonderfully, Priyanka Chopra has revealed in her latest interview. The actress has just completed shooting for her film, Text For You in London and was asked if cultural differences or the 10-year age gap between the two were ‘hurdles’ during the relationship.
“Nick took to India like a fish to water. But just like a normal couple, you have to understand each other’s habits and what each other likes. So it’s more of an adventure than trying to figure out hurdles. None of it was really that hard,” Priyanka Chopra said in an interview with The Sunday Times when asked if the 10-year age gap between 28-year-old Nick Jonas was a bigger hurdle or the “gap to bridge than any cultural differences”.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married in December of 2018 – the event was covered by all major media outlets around the globe and pictures of the couple went viral the moment they were released.
“It’s so comforting to find a person who is in your corner. Whatever I may be in my professional life or how the world perceives me, I’m just a girl trying to live her life in the best way possible, and I’m so grateful to have a partner in doing that,” the actress further said.
Priyanka Chopra has returned to work amidst the global lockdowns that took place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The actress has completed shooting for the fourth instalment in The Matrix series in Germany and was currently in the United Kingdom to shoot for Text For You. Her husband, Nick Jonas had joined her in London in November last year to celebrate their second wedding anniversary and the start of 2021.
“Quarantine gave us the ability to spend a lot of time together, which I’m really blessed by. Because with both of our careers it’s hard to find that kind of time,” the actress also told The Sunday Times.
