Priyanka Chopra Turns Tech Investor With Dating App Bumble

Priyanka Chopra will be a “partner, advisor, and investor” for the dating app

Bumble, the popular dating app, is planning on investing in India and actress Priyanka Chopra will be investing in it. That’s not all – she will also act as an adviser for its Indian launch, reports BBC. Bumble’s strongest competitor is Tinder which has found a lot of followership in the country. However, what sets Bumble apart from Tinder as of now is that it requires women to make the first move.

“I’ve always believed that investing in women is key to social transformation and economic growth. Women want love, they want friendship and they want to find a career, and that’s the uniqueness of what Bumble delivers,” the actress said in a statement. This makes Chopra a “partner, advisor, and investor” for the dating app.

Likely following in Bumble’s footsteps, Tinder also recently announced that they were testing a feature on the app that would allow only women to make the first move.
