Lady Kitty Spencer, the daughter of the late Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer, married 62-year-old multi-millionaire and fashion tycoon Michael Lewis in a ceremony on Saturday.
Kitty Spencer is a model and the eldest daughter of Charles and his ex-wife, Victoria Lockwood.
Lewis is the owner of the Whistles fashion chain, and is worth about $100 million, if media reports are to be believed. The duo dated for over two years before tying the knot. Spencer and Lewis said “I do” in front of friends and family at the 17th-century Baroque home Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, Rome, on Saturday.

In one of the posts from her wedding day, the bride thanked Dolce & Gabbana for creating a gown beyond her wildest dreams.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domenico & Stefano for creating a gown beyond my wildest dreams for the most important day of my life There are no words that could ever express my gratitude @dolcegabbana” she wrote
The brand explained, “For this unique event, #DolceGabbana created a number of exclusive hand-made gowns, each celebrating the beauty of the bride, the passion for #AltaModa and the absolute joy of the occasion.”
She was appointed the brand’s global ambassador earlier this year. Her elegant gown featured a high neck, puff sleeves, bridal buttons, a cinch waist and a decadent long train.
The bride’s brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Samuel Aitken walked her down the aisle.
Spencer’s father was not in attendance, although her mother was, and so were her twin sisters, Eliza and Amelia Spencer. Viscountess Emma Weymouth also graced the occasion.
Although her first cousins, Prince William and Prince Harry, were not present, Pixie Lott and Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba are some of the many famous friends of the bride’s that did make it.
The news of Lady Kitty’s engagement to the South African fashion mogul broke in January 2020 — a mere six months after their first public appearance as a couple.
She refused to comment on it, stating her romantic relationships have nothing “to do with anyone else.”
“It shouldn’t make a difference to anyone’s day,” she said. “Who I love or don’t love, or have a crush on or don’t have a crush on, or go on a date with, I don’t know why that should be what somebody reads over their corn flakes. As long as I keep it sacred, then it can remain so. As soon as I don’t, I don’t think you can get it back.”
