The film details how a team of underdogs held their ground and put Indian cricket on the world map after beating two-time world champions West Indies at the Lord’s Cricket Ground. The film also features Deepika Padukone as Romi Bhatia. 

 

Badhaai Do 

Starring Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, and Seema Pahwa, Badhaai Do explores the concept of ‘lavender marriages’ in India. The story revolves around a gay cop and a lesbian teacher who lead dual and socially-suppressed lives and settle for a marriage of compromise to hide their true selves and pacify their intrusive families. The recently released film is a journey of laughter and tears with a strong social message and has been receiving great reviews from critics as well as the audiences. 

 

Business Proposal   

Prepare for lots of laughs and romance with this Korean drama starring Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyo-seop. The story is about an office worker Shin Ha-ri who goes on a blind date in disguise as her friend with the goal of being rejected by him. But plans go awry as the man turns out to be the CEO of Ha-ri’s company and makes a unique proposal to her. 

 

The Adam Project   

The sci-fi drama revolves around Adam Reed (played by Ryan Reynolds), a time-traveling pilot, who ends up teaming with his younger self as well as his late father to save the future. The film also stars Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner. Hilarious and heart-warming, this movie is a celebration of nostalgia and a must-watch.  

 

Eternally Confused and Eager for Love 

The eight-episode coming-of-age comedy series is the perfect easy watch for this long weekend. Starring Vihaan Samat, Jim Sarbh, Rahul Bose, Eternally Confused and Eager for Love is the story of Ray (played by Vihaan Samat), an awkward and self-conscious young adult, who follows his inner voice named Wiz (voiced by Jim Sarbh) to make decisions about his love life, friends, family, and other matters. The series produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti is sure to appeal to today’s youth. 

 

The Fame Game   

Not only does this show mark Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit Nene’s OTT debut, but The Fame Game also delves into the dark side of stardom. It is a suspenseful family drama about a global superstar, who is also a mother and wife. The plot erupts when she mysteriously disappears leading to an investigation that unfolds the reasons for her disappearance and unveils the complicated life that glamour and fame bring.   

 

All Of Us Are Dead

All Of Us Are Dead is a South Korean coming-of-age zombie series revolving around the concept of a zombie apocalypse. Starring Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-Young, Cho Yi-Hyun, has become a huge hit and is now one of the most-watched zombies series. The zombie survival story is set in a Korean high school that becomes a ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. The trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of them.

 

Black Crab  

A must-watch an unspecified-near-future story that offers a realistic portrayal of war without overblown heroics. Starring Noomi Rapace, Black Crab is a Swedish thriller about six soldiers during a post-apocalyptic war.
