Last year was a good year for all cinema lovers. While we still were stuck at home, glued to the screen, we got to make the best use of it. Many films were released online while some also made it to the theatres. Some made a huge impact, while some were a disappointment. After another great year of good stories and content, the Oscars 2022 nominations have been finally announced.
From Dune to Drive My Car, the nominations focused on identifying an eclectic set of talents and movies across 23 categories. The announcement, made by actors Tracee Ellis-Ross and Leslie Jordan, was revealed on the Academy’s social media pages.

The 94th Academy Awards will be held on March 27th, 2022 at Hollywood’s iconic Dolby Theatre. This time around, the Oscars will be an in-person event and it will also have a host for the first time in three years.
