There are harmless lies, and then there plain atrociously absurd lies. The eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham’s recent claims fall in the latter. Brooklyn drew massive ridicule for claiming to own a sports car that was purchased from his earnings as a chef!

The incident can be traced back to a time, not too long ago, when TikToker Daniel Mac approached Brooklyn and quizzed the star kid upon spotting him in Beverly Hills.   

Brooklyn was driving a bright red colored McLaren P1, whose estimated worth is $ 1.2 million. But that’s not the highlight. What followed was an absurd claim by the youngster, who is a chef and makes cooking videos at home for social media. The famous Football legend’s son had alleged that the fancy automobile was bought from his earnings as a social media chef!

Netizens clearly had a field day and quipped how he is after all just a humble guy who didn’t reveal his ‘identity’.  

He is the son of soccer player David Beckham and singer Victoria Beckham. The couple’s net worth is approximately $450 million, and their son’s net worth is around $10 million. Brooklyn tied the knot with heiress Nicola Peltz Beckham in April this year. She is the daughter of Nelson Peltz whose estimated net worth is $1.8 billion. What’s more, Brooklyn not only added her last name to his surname but also flaunts a tattoo that reads, ‘married’ on his left hand.  

At the age of 23, Brooklyn lives an opulent life of pure decadence. It’s believed that his true passion lies in cooking. “They were kind of all hobbies. I was still trying to find that one thing I would literally die for, and I found that with cooking,” he once stated in an interview.
