Netizens React To Vikram Vedha Trailer
‘Vikram Vedha’ Meets Fan Expectations After Trailer Releases Today

The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 30

All set for a theatrical release on September 30, the first trailer of Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s Vikram Vedha was dropped today. This time around, Greek God Roshan will be seen portraying a negative character i.e. a gangster. On the other hand, Khan is seen in a tough role of a cop. The movie also features Radhika Apte, Sharib Hashmi, and Rohit Saraf.

This is a Hindi remake of the Tamil film that goes by the same name. Instead of Roshan and Khan, there were R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. The trailer shows both the actors in intense roles and the internet is flooded with reactions.

In an interview, Madhavan commented on the remake and said, “Saif is very charming and I think he’s going to bring a new dimension to the role that I haven’t seen before. I trust the team involved to really come up with absolutely new because they have the greatest ability to do it. Pushkar and Gayathri will not give you a normal product. I think it will be a flavor that the Hindi film industry will appreciate and I’m very keen to see what Hrithik and Saif have brought to the role.”

Talking about the movie’s cast, directors Pushkar-Gayathri added, “At the outset, the producers and we were looking for the best possible actors for the roles. Naturally, Hrithik and Saif were the top choices. Both are generous actors and have a deep understanding of the craft. It was always about making the scene work. As actors, they were so involved in the script that we were all perfectly in sync.”

This movie is based on the popular Indian folklore, Vikram Aur Betaal. It will be released on the same day as Mani Ratnam’s next, Ponniyin Selvan. So, it will be worth the wait to see how both films fare.

This is not the first time that the two actors are sharing screen space together. In 2002, Saif and Roshan did the film Na Tum Jaano Na Hum. But both of them are coming back on screen after a short hiatus. Roshan’s last movie named War was out in 2019, and Khan’s last release Jawaani Jaaneman was out in 2020.
