Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got hitched in a romantic setting surrounded by their closest friends and family. The couple sealed the deal on June 9, and speculations around their wedding footage being sold to an OTT platform had been doing the rounds ever since. Netflix, finally confirmed that it was them who has cracked the deal with the duo.
The streaming platform took to its official social media handle to confirm the news. Sharing some exclusive pictures from the wedding, the caption stated that Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are soon arriving on Netflix. The post reads, “These images of Nayanthara and Vignesh have us seeing stars. BRB, we’re doing a little happy dance ourselves because THEY’RE coming to Netflix. it’s beyond a fairy tale!!”

The couple’s wedding ceremony was attended by many high-profile celebrities. Rajinikanth, actors Ajith, Shah Rukh Khan, Karthi, director Atlee, producer Boney Kapoor and many others were in attendance. The wedding transpired after the two met on the sets of Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in 2015 and fell in love with each other.
Interestingly, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are not the only couple who have sold exclusive rights of their wedding video to an OTT platform. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas also cracked a deal with Amazon Prime Video for their sangeet footage. The special will soon arrive on the OTT platform. Newlyweds Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal also reportedly sold the rights of their wedding footage to an OTT platform for Rs 80 crore.
