Millie Bobby Brown Hunter Ecimovic Relationship
Millie Bobby Brown Recalls Past Relationship With Hunter Ecimovic As ‘Unhealthy’

“Walking away and knowing that I’m worth everything and this person didn’t take anything from me, it felt very empowering,” said the Stranger Things actress.

It takes courage to talk about past relationships that don’t end well. And, 18-year-old Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown has opened up about her relationship with her alleged ex-boyfriend and TikToker Hunter Ecimovic.

Tongues were wagging over their relationship after pictures of the two engaging in PDA surfaced in 2020. However, last year on an Instagram live, Ecimovic said quite a few things about the actress. He opined how it often felt like being in a relationship with a kid. The popular social media star further added that he had groomed her for several things. The revelations came when Brown had already moved on and was already seeing her now boyfriend Jake Bongiovi. Ecimovic also revealed that he stayed at Brown’s house for eight months.

While the big reveal created quite a stir, Ecimovic eventually issued an apology and admitted to acting out on an impulse. But the damage was already done. Brown didn’t respond to the controversy back then, but her team handled the situation well.

Now a year later, in a recent interview, Brown has finally decided to open up. The actress maintained that since so many people follow her, she wanted them to see her as a human who is also capable of making wrong decisions.

She labeled the relationship as an ‘unhealthy situation’. She was shooting for Stranger Things at the time of the relationship. “Also, no one on the [Stranger Things] set knew I was going through this. So it was kind of nice to be able to just deal with that I and no one else knew. Then it was harder when the whole world knew,” Brown averred.

The actress broke her ties six months before Ecimovic went live.

Brown further went on to add that she felt powerless and was humiliated publicly. But the actress has moved on and has healed from the trauma.

She said, “Walking away and knowing that I’m worth everything and this person didn’t take anything from me, it felt very empowering. It felt like my life had finally turned a page and that I had ended a chapter that felt so fucking long…”
