We never thought we’d say this but it is not a good time to be Matt Damon right now. The 51-year-old actor was recently made the target of a brutal joke in South Park’s new movie, called South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took shots at Damon for starring in a Crypto.com commercial, which included the tagline “Fortune Favours the Brave.” Here’s what it looks like
Of course, South Park had to put their own spin on it. And they did it by showing the actor in a desert, explaining to us, the audience, how we can cut down on water usage. How? By replacing it with their urine. This revelation is followed by Damon using pee to water his lawn, cook pasta, take a shower and even lick a frozen pee popsicle. Safe to say, South Park wasn’t holding any hostages.
But Damon wasn’t the only celebrity who was “featured” in the South Park movie. Iron Man actress, Gwyneth Paltrow was shown drinking urine out of a teacup after a man pees in it offscreen. Larry David is shown using the stream of pee as his water fountain. Meanwhile, Naomi Osaka is shown eating a salad covered in urine. Then there is Reese Witherspoon, who talks about how much she trusts crypto, before dunking her head in an inflatable pool of piss.
The real Matt Damon ad which came out last year in October has drawn wide criticism ever since crypto stocks started plummeting in the recent months. As per reports, if you had invested $1,000 in Bitcoin when the ad first aired, you’d have around $325 today. If you happen to be one of those poor souls, we hope the South Park parody soothes some wounds.
