Martin Scorsese has officially signed a multi-year deal with Apple TV+, as reported by Deadline. 

As part of the deal, Scorsese’s Sikelia Productions will produce and direct both film and television projects for the streaming service. Sikelia Prodcutions has notable films under its banner including Silence, The Wolf of Wall Street and The Departed.

The director is currently working with them on the film “Killers of the Flower Moon,” which will directed by Scorsese, staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. The film is in pre-production and is expected to debut in 2021.

The movie will appear on Apple TV Plus after it is distributed in theatres by Paramount Pictures.

This news comes after it was announced that DiCaprio and his Appian Way production company had signed a first-look television deal with Apple TV +
