Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle Snr, has threatened to take her and Prince Harry to court in hopes of seeing his grandchildren.

“I will be petitioning the California courts for the rights to see my grandchildren in the very near future,” he told Fox News

The father, who lives in Rosarito, Mexico, asked for the help of the Queen and the British Royal Family in seeing his granddaughter, Lilibet, who was born on June 4.

He requests that Lili be christened at the Queen’s church in a clip that he filmed in his home.

He told Fox News: “We shouldn’t be punishing [Lili] for Meghan and Harry’s bad behaviour.

“Archie and Lili are small children. They’re not politics. They’re not pawns. They’re not part of the game. And they’re also royal and entitled to the same rights as any other royal.”

“I’m hoping the Queen and the people in England will stop and think about the mistakes and bad behaviour of their parents,” he continued.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to ask the Queen, the Royal Family, to allow Lili to receive her baptism and first Christening at the Queen’s church.”

He also called out the prince and his decision to release a memoir, claiming the prince “would not have too much more to tell”.

Markle Snr previously revealed he only realised he had become a grandfather again when he heard it “on the radio”.

He said “I haven’t spoken to her (Meghan) since two days before they got married… no phone calls, I just heard it on the radio…”

The retired lighting engineer intends to do interviews every 30 days until his daughter responds to him. The two have not spoken for over three years.

The father accepts he erred when he staged paparazzi photos, apparently in exchange for cash, of himself getting a suit and shopping before the wedding in May 2018. He, yet, insists he is being unfairly punished. He believes he has done nothing so bad that Meghan should choose to be completely estranged from him.

“I’ve made mistakes. I apologised a hundred times for it… If I had done something terribly wrong, that would be fine, but I haven’t,” he said.
