Lady Gaga has announced that she will be postponing the release of her new album Chromatica. Earlier, the album was supposed to release on April 10, but now no new release date has been revealed by the her.

 

Chromatica is Lady Gaga’s follow-up to Jonne and the soundtrack to A Star Is Born. The record includes her recent single ‘Stupid Love.’

 

The virus outbreak has led to cancelling of countless concerts, festivals and shows. Similar to Gaga, many musicians are now delaying the release of their new music. HAIM, Kellu Lee Owens and JARVIS have all pushed back release dates due to corona.

 

She announced the news on her Instagram handle by posting a note. She explained: “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”
