After releasing her latest single, Lady Gaga announced on March 2 the release date for her sixth studio album. Titled Chromatica, the new project produced by BloodPop and Gaga will be available to stream and purchase starting on April 10 via Interscope Records.
She revealed the news on New Music Daily with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, where the pop star explained that making the album was a healing process.
Gaga explained: “Sound is what healed me in my life, period. And it healed me again making this record. ‘Chromatica’ is all about healing and it’s about bravery as well… when we talk about love I think it’s so important to include the fact that it requires a ton of bravery to love someone.”
Gaga took to her Instagram and unveiled some temporary album artwork to go with the announcement post.
