The word ‘Koffee’ can only be associated with Karan Johar and the very couch where many contorversies took birth. While many were anticipating that the film-maker will return with another season of the talk show, Johar had something new to offer. He got back on the sets of the talk show, but only for a special episode called Koffee Shots With Karan.

The special guests for this episode were the cast of OTT’s biggest entertainer yet, Disney+ Hotstar Specials The Empire. Kunal Kapoor, Dino Morea, and Drashti Dhami graced the show to spill the beans about working with each other, thier personal lives and more.

Disney+ Hotstar shared a glimpse of what’s to come and let us tell you, you are in for some good fun. The promo shows Dhami take Johar’s case by accidentally taking Kangana Ranaut’s name during her rapid fire round, you also see Morea talk about why he would want to visit Maldives as Tiger Shroff and more.

Talking about this special episode, Koffee Shots with Karan, Johar said, “The stunning visuals from the show The Empire have left the audiences, myself included, mesmerized and intrigued about what’s in store! So in my quintessential style, I sat down with the three ‘royal’ stars to find out the juicy bits about the behind the scenes action that unfolded. It’s been a fun segment! Of course, this chat is incomplete without my Koffee-shots.”

 

Talking about the show, The Empire is is based on the book – Moghul: Raiders from the North – by Alex Rutherford. The show features Kapoor as Mughal emperor Babur and Morea as his rival, Shaybani Khan. Created by Nikkhil Advani and directed by Mitakshara Kumar, the show also stars Shabana Azmi, Aditya Seal, Sahher Bamba, Imaad Shah, Rahul Dev and others in crucial roles.
