After giving the biggest blockbuster of the year, Kartik Aaryan has a new film in his kitty. The actor will be collaborating with Anurag Basu for the third installment of Aashiqui. The actor marks his first collaboration with the filmmaker with this project, and fans just can’t seem to wait to watch their favorite hero back in a romantic role. 

Unveiling the first look of the film, Aaryan captioned the post, “Ab Tere Bin Ji Lenge Hum Zeher Zindagi Ka Pi Lenge Hum #Aashiqui3 This one is going to be Heart-wrenching !! My First with Basu Da”. The film will be backed by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt.

The news of the new release excited fans who took to Twitter to celebrate it. “This is such big news. Ommggg. A film we all saw as a kid, and now our favorite taking the franchise forward. Sooooooo huge thing it is,” tweeted a fan. Many lauded Aaryan for achieving everything on his own merit.

Aaryan recently told Variety, “The timeless classic Aashiqui is something I grew up watching, and working on Aashiqui 3 is like a dream come true. I feel privileged yet grateful for collaborating with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt for this opportunity. I’ve been a big fan of Anurag Basu’s work and collaborating with him on this one will definitely shape me in many ways.”

The film comprises Pritam’s music and will be made under the banner of T-Series and Vishesh Films. The film’s leading lady is yet to be announced.
