Is Johnny Depp Referring To Amber Heard In New Song?
Does Johnny Depp’s New Album Have Songs About Amber Heard?

We wonder how Heard would react to these songs.

Ever since he won the defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp has been in the news more often than not. First, he donated money to the charity to whom Heard had failed to donate and now, he has released songs which can be linked to Heard. This seems like another dig at her and the story continues to drag on even after the case was closed. After the trial, Depp joined his half-a-decade-old friend Jeff Beck on his musical tour in UK. He wrote two songs for his album named 18.

The album’s first song is named This is a Song for Miss Hedy Lamar and has been reportedly written by Depp himself. The record was reviewed by a publication and according to the song’s lyrics, he thinks that she has said enough for one night; she’s sitting like a dog with a seven-year itch; if he had a dime it wouldn’t reach her hand. Now, who else would this be directed to? The album is all set to release to the public on July 15, 2022.

Beck and Depp had collaborated with each other in 2020 as well when they had released a cover of Isolation by John Lennon. They didn’t stop there either and covered a variety of other songs as well including songs like Killing Joke’s The Death and Resurrection Show, Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On and Jimi Hendrix’s Little Wing, among others.

A few days ago, Depp had organised a massive NFT sale and donated all the earnings from there to four charity organisations. He earned almost $800,000 and then released a list of the organizations through his Twitter account.

Last month, Depp won the defamation trial and was awarded $10 million in compensatory charges and $5 million in punitive damages. But just after the verdict, the Aquaman actress questioned the credibility of the jury and then later her lawyers also asked the court to declare a mistrial.
