Ranveer Singh has always been known to dress wacky, and his latest look when he was spotted wearing a yellow hat and green lungi (both bright!), is just that – wacky!
We’d interviewed Ranveer Singh on his rules of style, and he revealed his fashion fetishes to us. “Shoes and hats. I can never have enough of them. I particularly love the plain white adidas Superstar II. I have multiple pairs at any given point. And, I’m extremely finicky about keeping them spotlessly clean,” he said.
When asked about the must-haves in every man’s wardrobe, Ranveer said, “A solid pair of blue denim jeans, a black leather jacket and white-coloured basics, such as shirts and T-shirts.”
Recently, Ranveer Singh wowed the world with his performance as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat. Even though he was the villain, he stole the show from both Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in our opinion. He went to great lengths to perform it too, and we have reasons to think that he is the best method actor of this generation.
“It was difficult initially. I like making other people happy, and spreading good vibes. I feel like spreading kindness makes me happy, because it multiplies and comes back my way. When I come out of the vanity van in Khilji’s garb after two hours of make-up, I’m not that person any more. So to let go of that feeling that people might think I’m a complete prick, to let go of the fear of being judged for the man I am playing, took some getting used to. I think once I was in character, I was carrying a very different energy that wasn’t my vibe. I wasn’t giving off a very amicable, approachable vibe at all. I couldn’t care less to make someone smile or make their day — I was Alauddin Khilji,” he said in an interview with us.
We hope that he continues making such great films, and keeps giving performances from the core of his soul. His fashion sense sure is quirky, but we think, his acting sense is way more refined.
