Off The Record, a new series by Tiger Baby Films was launched by filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, almost a year ago. The series features behind-the-scenes moments from their films, where fans got to know about some really fun trivia from the sets of their favourite films. We all are quite familiar with the “Mantal Buoy” scene where the trio is travelling by a car. Deol revealed that Roshan “almost killed” while shooting this scene. In the latest episode of Off The Record, we see the actor talk about how Hrithik Roshan forgot to switch off its ignition of the car, resulting in the car sliding ahead. Both, Akthar and Deol, were in the car and would have met with an accident if they hadn’t jumped from the car.

“Before shooting this scene, Hrithik almost killed me and Farhan. Farhan was really fast. He jumped out immediately, and I sat there thinking I’m going to die now,” quipped Deol.

The caption on the post shared by Tiger Baby Films read, “We make films for the silver screen but the little stories that make the big picture don’t always come through. Here’s introducing our ‘Off The Record‘ series where cast and crew from the Tiger Baby clan let us in on what went into creating some of their best scenes, what their psychology was in that moment and why this particular scene will always remain unforgettable to them.”

Off The Record’ first episode featured Farhan Akhtar, who then had also narrated the story behind one of the scenes of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. He talked about the scene where he meets his biological father (played by Naseeruddin Shah) for the first time. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, ZNMD also featured Katrina Kaif, Kalki Koechlin in key roles.
