The highly talented Homi Adajania has given us some pretty killer films like Being Cyrus, Cocktail, Finding Fanny and the recently released Angrezi Medium. All of his films are unique in their own way and the director believes he’d get bored if he had to make a film in his comfort zone.

However, due to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting national lockdown, Angrezi Medium had to pause its runs at the theatres and is set for a re-release.

His next is hilariously titled Saas Bahu Aur Cocaine and is based on women who run a cocaine cartel.

“The story is bizarre and dark. It’s about a family of women, who seemingly run an embroidery business in Kutch. The business in fact is just a front for the biggest cocaine cartel in South Asia. The men in the family have no clue about it as they work abroad,” he told Filmfare, adding: “What I love about Dinesh (producer Dinesh Vijayan) is that he pushes me into things, which he believes only I’ll be able to pull off.”
