After confirmation that Colors would indeed go ahead with the 14th season of the popular reality show, Bigg Boss, new details have emerged about the lockdown-themed season which is reportedly set to begin on October 3.

“Throughout the lockdown, people have missed certain activities, be it shopping, eating out, or watching films. As part of the luxury tasks, contestants would be able to win a chance to enjoy these in the Bigg Boss 14 house. As Salman Khan said in the teaser videos, this would be a befitting reply to 2020,” a source told the Indian Express.

The report goes on to say that contestants will be endowed with luxuries that they have missed out on due to COVID like going to a mall, watching movies in the theatre, and going to restaurants.

According to the Hindustan Times, Nia Sharma, Pavitra Punia, Akanksha Puri, Nishant Malkani, Eijaz Khan, Naina Singh, Kumar Janu, and Vivian Dsena may participate in the new season.
