‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is said to have earned a whopping Rs 500 crore in just four days of its release

With superstar Yash in the lead, the Prashanth Neel directorial KGF Chapter 2 hit the theatres on April 14th, 2022. The action-drama since then managed to receive a tremendous response worldwide and it continues to shatter box-office records. As per reports, the film earned a whopping Rs 500 crore in just four days of its release.

 

In the blood-soaked Kolar Gold Fields, Rocky’s (Yash) name strikes fear into his foes and he must battle threats from all sides. While Sanjay Dutt plays Rocky’s nemesis in the film, Raveena Tandon is seen playing the ruthless Prime Minister Ramika Sen. 

Here’s a look at how much the KGF team charged to do the movie:

Yash

Enjoying a fanbase of more than 6.9 million followers on Instagram, Yash is one of the highest-paid South Indian actors right now, taking a remuneration of Rs 20 crore per film, according to Asianet News. Further, a report by India TV suggests that the actor has hiked his fee and fetched Rs 27 crore for his role in KGF: Chapter 2.

 

Prashanth Neel

Director Prashanth Neel is at the second place as his fee was at a whopping Rs 15 crore for the sequel. 

 

Sanjay Dutt

Sanjay Dutt makes his Sandalwood debut and his Pan-Indian debut with KGF: Chapter 2. The actor, who plays Adheera has charged Rs 9-10 crore for the movie.

 

Srinidhi Shetty

Srinidhi plays Reena Desai in KGF 2. Going by reports, she is said to have charged Rs 3-4 crore for the film.

 

Raveena Tandon

Raveena Tandon plays PM Ramika Sen and she is said to have been paid Rs 1-2 crores for the film.

 

Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj who is seen as Vijayendra Ingalagi has charged Rs 80-82 lakh.

 

Malavika Avinash

Malavika Avinash plays Deepa Hegde, the chief editor of a news channel in KGF: Chapter 2. The actress has been paid Rs.60-62 lakh to be part of the film.

 

Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, the multilingual film is out in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
