Social media star Hasbulla Magomedov finally put rumours of an Australian visit to rest, with announcements of an August-September tour coming to light this morning.
While the 19-year-old influencer from Dagestan, Russia hasn’t yet addressed fans directly though his online channels, management company The One Hour Group announced that the tour will kick off on August 29, starting with Sydney. On August 31, Hasbulla will travel to Melbourne on the South coast, before wrapping up the tour on September 1.
Tickets certainly aren’t cheap, however. The tour tickets go on sale this Thursday, June 30, and start at a whopping $249 for ‘First Release’ passes, going all the way up to $299 and $349 for further releases.
“I am very excited to be heading to Australia, I can’t wait to see all my Aussie fans and visit these amazing cities, I’ve heard so many great things about Australia, I’m looking forward to all the great experiences your country has to offer,” said Hasbulla.
No Ladies Allowed
In an unexpected turn that’s raised eyebrows amongst some fans, Hasbulla has stated that he will not be photographed with any female guests during his meet & greet event. One Hour shared this with a message to the fans:
“The Hour Group confirms that due to Hasbulla’s personal and cultural beliefs, he regrettably cannot take photos with female guests. To our female guests if you would like to attend the meet and greet with Hasbulla, you are welcome to do so, but please acknowledge the limitations of photography.
We understand the disappointment this creates; however, we respectfully acknowledge the cultural and personal beliefs of Hasbulla and have to accommodate his requests accordingly.”
Hasbulla is reportedly a devout Muslim, and has even shared intentions of becoming a relgious scholar in the past — he also is regularly spotted wearing the taqiyah, a traditional Islamic skullcap. His hometown, Dagestan, belongs to a majority population of conservative, small-town folks, the cultures and customs of which Hasbulla still retains despite the millions of followers he has online.
Despite a fair number of fans not being able to take selfies with their beloved ‘Mini Khabib’, Aussies were thrilled to hear the news, and took to Twitter en masse:

Rumors also suggest that Hasbulla will be secretly joined by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who towers nearly four feet over the diminutive celebrity. While Shaq is just… really big, Hasbulla has a disorder called Growth Hormone Deficiency, which makes him retain a baby-like appearance even though he’s of legal drinking age.
The Hour Group certainly isn’t new to hosting basketball players — having previously hosted Shaq as well as late legend Kobe Bryant. They have also hosted fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov, who has been filmed hanging out with Hasbulla in the past.
