Halsey and Alev Aydin have become parents. Halsey and their boyfriend welcomed Baby Ender Ridley Aydin on July 19. The singer shared the happy news with an adorable picture on social media.

Sharing a monochrome picture on Instagram, Halsey wrote, “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.” The singer can be seen holding the little one while looking at their boyfriend. Aydin is busy looking at the little one in this cute picture.
Talking about their relationship, the singer had told Allure magazine earlier this month, “The judginess started from the beginning. Alev and I have been really good friends for four years. And when the stars aligned, our relationship became romantic and it was pretty evident that he and I were both like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You’re the person I’m supposed to start a family with.’ A lot of people had opinions about that.”
“Nobody knew I was dating someone. As if people were entitled to an update, like, ‘I’ve met someone, we’re going on dates, it’s getting serious, they’ve moved in, we’re planning a child, we are having a baby, we had a baby, this is the gender…I signed up to give my whole life away; my loved ones didn’t,” they added. Halsey and Alev Aydin made their relationship public when the singer made her pregnancy announcement back in January.
The singer also recently announced their next studio album titled, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The album will be produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails. The new album arrives August 27. They called the album “a concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth.”
“The idea that me as a sexual being and my body as a vessel and gift to my child are two concepts that can co-exist peacefully and powerfully. This cover image celebrates pregnant and postpartum bodies as something beautiful, to be admired. We have a long way to go with eradicating the social stigma around bodies and breastfeeding,” she continued.
