Celebrities Who Tried To Win Their Exes Back Publicly
From Nick Jonas To Justin Bieber, Here Are 5 Instances When Celebrities Tried To Win Their Exes Back

Being rich and famous doesn’t spare you from heartbreak

Celebrities, they are just like us. They meet someone, fall in love and, sometimes, they break up. The only difference, of course, is the millions of dollars in the bank account and hundreds of cameras they have pointed at them all the time. So it’s no surprise then, that there’s a long list of actors and musicians who publicly tried to reconcile with their ex, only to be met with heartbreak.

1) Offset and Cardi B

Fans were understandably upset when Cardi B initially announced her separation from rapper Offset over cheating allegations. It looked like the much-publicised relationship was headed for a divorce, until Offset tried to make amends.

Back in 2018, the Atlanta rapper crashed Cardi’s performance by coming on stage with a “Take Me Back Cardi” flower display. If that wasn’t enough, he added to his sentiment by saying “In front of the world, I love you.”

2) Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian

The Kardashians find a way to stay in the headlines for some reason or the other. Back in 2016, that reason was the split between former NBA player Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian. After a very public divorce and a rehab stint, Odom appeared on a daytime talk show ‘The Doctors’ where he expressed his desire to make things better with his then ex-wife. When asked what he was looking forward about the future, he said “Honestly, I want my wife back.”

3) Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus

What happens when two famous musicians break up with each other? You get more music, of course. After their breakup in 2007, Nick Jonas wrote a track called “Wedding Bells” after rumours started circulating about Miley’s engagement with Liam Hemsworth. Just to give you an idea of the extent of Jonas’ heartbreak, here are what the lyrics read: “No, I don’t wanna love/ If it’s not you/ I don’t wanna hear the wedding bells prove/ That we can’t try one last time.”

4) Robin Thicke and Paula Patton

The “Blurred Lines” singer was seen heartbroken in all his appearances after his split from Paula Patton was announced. To win her back, Thicke recorded an entire album dedicated to his estranged wife, with tracks titled “Forever Love,” “Get Her Back” and “You’re My Fantasy.” Sadly though, things didn’t quite work out as Thicke expected them to be.

5) Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez

They say Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez had to walk so Kim and Kanye could run. Back in the day, the couple’s on-again, off-again relationship was discussed everywhere from school cafeterias to the mainstream news channels. So when it looked like the relationship has finally ended, Biebs came out with a heartfelt piano ballad “Nothing Like Us,” as a message to Gomez. The lyrics of which go: “Cause nothing can ever, ever replace you/ Nothing can make me feel like you do There’s nothing like us, there’s nothing like you and me I gave you everything, baby, everything I had to give/ Girl, why would you push me away?”
