Friends is amongst the world’s most watched and loved sitcoms and it is a great opportunity for us to present their reunion, something that the world has been talking about, on ZEE5 for Friends fans in India.”

Aniston, Cox, Kudrow, LeBlanc, Perry, and Schwimmer will also serve as executive producers for Friends: The Reunion. They also will be reuniting with Friends creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane, executive producer Kevin Bright, and director Ben Winston for this episode.
Despite the general excitement over the upcoming Friends reunion special, co-creator Marta Kauffman wasn’t originally a fan of the idea of a reboot. She spoke at the 2016 Austin Film Festival on a panel dedicated to her beloved sitcom, explaining that the nature of the show meant that a reunion or reboot wouldn’t make sense for the plot. “The show is about that time in your life when your friends are your family,” she said.
