After giving us classics like Kill Bill, Django Unchained, and Pulp Fiction, Quentin Tarantino is back again and this time with a star-studded cast.
The first trailer for the long-awaited Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is here and it’s everything you’d expect from a Quentin Tarantino production. Action, Comedy and a whole lot of bad-assery.
The first trailer for the film introduces Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), a washed-up actor known for a television Western, and Dalton’s best friend and stunt double, Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt). The trailer shows scenes of Hollywood, LA from the 1960s. Margot Robbie plays the ill-fated Tate, Damian Lewis embodies the legendary Steve McQueen, and Damon Herriman plays the cult leader Charles Manson. We also see stars like Al Pacino, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell, and Timothy Olyphan make an appearance.
In one of the most talked about scenes from the trailer, we see Brad Pitt going head-to-head against Bruce Lee in a fight. Played by Mike Moh, Bruce Lee and Brad Pitt first indulge in some trash talk which then eventually turns into a full-fledged fight.
Notably, this is the first film from Tarantino that Harvey Weinstein won’t be producing, following the accusations of rape, sexual assault, and misconduct by numerous women against him.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will hit theaters on July 26th, 2019.
