Fans Upset Over Dhanush's Fee For The Gray Man
What’s The Conundrum Around Dhanush’s Fee For The Gray Man?

It has been learned that the actor was paid a sum of $500,000, whereas Evans has earned $15 million and Ryan Gosling, $10 million

With just a few days left for The Gray Man to premiere, Indian fans are excited to see Dhanush in his second Hollywood role. The actor plays a deadly assassin in this Russo Brothers production, which also stars Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in key roles. The actor has been drawing positive reviews for his role so far, but his fee has become a more important topic of discussion than the reviews itself.

It has been learned that the actor was paid a sum of $500,000, whereas Evans has earned $15 million and Ryan Gosling, $10 million. What astonished fans is that he is being paid much less than his usual fee. Dhanush typically takes home around 15 crores for his Tamil projects, and much more for his Telugu and Hindi films. So, a comparatively paltry 4 crores for The Gray Man role has left Netizens stumped.

In other news, Dhanush’s co-star described him as “incredible.” Gosling said that he “can’t wait” to work with the star again. “He is incredible. I mean, he’s just, I just loved working with him. I didn’t get to know him, there wasn’t enough time. I can’t wait to make another film with him. He’s just so disciplined. He never made a mistake. Every bit of the choreography was so like, precise. He also has an incredible sense of humour and it’s just wonderful to be around. You know, I really enjoyed working with him, and I’d love to do more,” Gosling told NDTV.

The Gray Man is based on Mark Greaney’s eponymous novel, and Joe and Anthony Russo are envisioning James Bond-esque franchise for it. The cinematic hunk-off will be backed by their new content company, AGBO. The story revolves around an ex-CIA operative-turned-killer, who is being pursued by an old colleague.

The Netflix-backed action thriller is being touted as the biggest feature film in the streaming giant’s history. The film also stars Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Chris Hemsworth, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfre Woodard, Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, and Julia Butters. It will release on July 22nd, 2022.
