After a wait of almost half a decade, the makers of Pitchers are back with the second season. The recently-released teaser and the trailer have amassed rave reviews from critics and fans. Created by The Viral Fever and developed by Arunabh Kumar, this show marked the start of the web series market in the country. Season 2 follows the lives of Naveen Kasturia, Arunabh Kumar, and Abhay Mahajan who want to take their startup to the next level.
In the first season, they all come together( Jitendra Kumar included) to conjure up a start-up. Now, while the start-up is in place, Kumar is missing from action. Named Pragati AL, their entrepreneurial dream transpires into reality roughly about seven years later. However, the founders are faced with a challenge yet again.
Here’s What Fans Have To Say About The Show:
In an interview, Kasturia, who plays one of the leads in the show, said that he resonates a lot with his character, “I am not a hustler. The only difference between me and this guy is that I am not a hustler. I have the don’t give up attitude. I am also an optimist and that’s why I survive, I guess,” he said, adding, “I don’t think too much about the future, but in season 2 this guy is taking a lot of risks. He is overcommitting all the time. I am not that person. But Naveen Bansal was not like that in season 1. We see different shades of Naveen Bansal. He is more street smart which I am not and that is the difference between Naveen Bansal and me. Main thoda lallu hun as compared to Naveen Bansal. Once I get into something I work very hard, but when I’m not working, I have this inertia problem.”
Further enthusing what his biggest takeaway has been from the series, Kasturia averred, “What I learned from Pitchers was to not give up. If you are at it for a long enough period then things will start coming your way and that is what is happening in the season. Also, you have to learn to move on as you cannot do anything about a few things, and hence, letting go is the best thing to do. You can’t hold on to people or things and that is what I have learned from Pitchers.”
