A few months ago, rumours emerged that Chris Evans has been seeing Warrior Nun-actress Alba Baptista for a year now. He has been an eligible bachelor for years now, but recently, the Captain-America star confirmed the end of his singledom. In an Instagram story, the 41-year-old actor shared eight video clips from 2022 of the two pranking each other at Evans’ Boston house.
Earlier in 2021, pictures had emerged of the couple taking a stroll in a park, holding hands and wearing matching sunglasses. Needless to say, the Internet has exploded:
It was reported earlier that the two are madly in love and Evans’ family and friends love Baptista. But neither of them had confirmed the news. When the MCU actor won the title of the Sexiest Man Alive in 2022 he expressed his desire to settle down. In an interview, he said that he wants to have a family with kids and a wife. He further added, “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared.”
Professionally, too, the two actors are on the right track. Evans was last seen in The Gray Man, alongside Ryan Gosling, and was greatly appreciated for his role. Next, he will be seen alongside Dwayne Johnson in Red One by Amazon Studios. There is a project named Artemis as well, where he would be seen opposite his old co-star Scarlett Johansson. There’s also tittle-tattle around him being part of the remake of the classic, Little Shop of Horrors.
On the other hand, Baptista rose to fame as Avav from Netflix’s Warrior Nun. She also starred in Mrs. Harris Goes To Paris in 2022, marking her debut in Hollywood. Talking about how she landed the role she said in an interview, “I was the last role to be filled because they were initially going in a different direction, and then they changed everything. I remember getting the script and absolutely falling in love with it. I actually didn’t even have an audition—I just had a Zoom meeting with the director. We had a lovely conversation and connected on such personal grounds. I think he saw some character traits that connected with Natasha and said, ‘Look, it’s yours.'”
