After the impactful response that 365 Days got, the makers of the film were hoping to get the same kind of response for the sequel. Titled 365 Days: This Day , the film brought back one of the hottest on-screen couples on Netflix. Anna-Maria Sieklucka returned as the fierce Laura while Michele Morrone’s Massimo only looks hotter in the sequel. The two were joined by some old and new cast including names like Italian actor Simone Susinna, Magdalena Lamparska, and Otar Saralidze.
The story of the 365 Days sequel shows how Laura and Massimo’s new life as a married couple gets complicated by Massimo’s family ties. We see a mysterious man enter Laura’s life to win her heart. The trailer promised drama and a lot of crazy twists and turns just like the first film which became No. 1 on the platform’s Top 10 most-watched films at that time.
While the trailer of the film and the synopsis left everyone intrigued, the film failed to make the same impact as the first one. Massimo and Laura’s chemistry may have been hot as ever, but many fans felt that the film lacked a lot more elements. Many people were ‘disappointed’ with how the events turned out to be and felt that the storyline was sidelined at several points because of the addition of innumerable songs.
Here’s What Netizens Have To Say:
Serving as a sequel, 365 Days: This Day is based on This Day, the second novel of a trilogy, penned by Blanka Lipińska. The Polish-American erotic romantic drama film is directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes.
