The 1981 film, Silsila was supposed to be the biggest casting coup in the history of Bollywood cinema because it brought together Rekha, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan to depict a story on adultery and marriage. Until now.

In what can be considered a stellar casting coup, Amitabh Bachchan spearheads a short film that boasts the likes of Rajinikanth, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mohanlal, Mammootty and Chiranjeevi, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Shiva Rajkumar and Diljit Dosanjh.

The point of this short film is to underline the importance of staying home and maintaining social distancing in these COVID-19 times. Bachchan Senior and the gang put up a fantastic performance and put forth the message that only staying indoors can help flatten the curve of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The video opens with Big B sitting on a couch and complaining about being unable to find his favourite pair of sunglasses and the rest of the cast go about helping him find them. This video was shot individually in each star’s home.
