Right from having fan clubs to naming their kids after them, fans sometimes go to extreme lengths to express their admiration for their favourite celebrities. This can also take a dark turn when these innocent fans turn into obsessive stalkers. 

In fact, there have been numerous instances where these celeb-obsessed stalkers have walked right into their homes, surpassing all security checks. Here is a list of celebs who have shared their crazy stalker stories with the world:

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif

Kaushal and Kaif  filed a police complaint a few days ago against a stalker. The stalker was sending them death threats and also said that he would do something untowards with Kaif’s sister Isabella Kaif. He has been identified as Manvinder Singh and has now been arrested in a hotel in Mumbai from where he used to post edited pictures and videos with Kaif and used to address her as his wife.

Shruti Haasan

Despite having a tight security cover around, a stalker had attacked Haasan at her house in Mumbai in 2013. Early in the morning when the doorbell rang, she opened the door thinking that it was her maid. As soon as the stalker saw her, he tried strangling her. It shook the actress to her core.

Akshay Kumar

In 2014, Kumar, in an interview, revealed that a fan had slit her wrist in front of him to show him how much she loved him. The actor rushed the girl to the hospital by himself and also called her parents who were in Lucknow. Later, he shared his secretary’s number with the girl so that she could meet him.

Shahid Kapoor

In 2012, Kapoor filed a complaint at the Versova police station against Raaj Kumar’s daughter Vastavikta Pandit when she went overboard with stalking the actor. She used to sit on his scar’s bonnet and claim that she was her biggest fan. She moved into a house which was next to Kapoor’s and used to tell people that she was his wife. This went on for nine months before he decided to take legal action.

Dia Mirza

In 2009, Mirza filed a complaint against a stalker who had been at it for six years. On her birthday, he disguised himself as a florist and went to her house. Since she would receive a lot of flower bouquets on her birthday, the security let him in. The man went to her house and introduced himself as a doctor. He then pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him.

Vidya Balan

Balan’s fan base blew up after her superhit movie The Dirty Picture in 2012. It was during that time that a man in his late 20s went to her house even though she was not at home. However, her sister, who had delivered twins a year ago, was there. Shocked by the incident, the actress filed a complaint against him. The cops eventually caught him but left him with a warning.
